Nike's budget-friendly Kyrie Irving signature, the Kyrie Flytrap, is set to receive a sequel in the near future. In fact, the new model is already popping up overseas.
The Kyrie Flytrap 2 picks up where its predecessor left off, offering performance tech at a price point that is presumably lower than Irving's normal signature sneaker, although the exact price has not been confirmed. Images shared by @jcarlojocson on Instagram show the shoes have already surfaced in the Philippines.
Like the original Flytrap, the sequel appears to use a mostly textile upper and adds a large heel counter. In terms of design, the Flytrap 2 introduces an obscured Kyrie logo at the forefoot.
Stateside release details for the Kyrie Flytrap 2 are currently unknown, however the previous model released in March 2018. Â
