Beginning January 2019, Craig A. Williams will be the new president of Jordan Brand.

Williams joins the company after stints at The Coca-Cola Co. as senior vice president and The McDonald’s Division (TMD) Worldwide as president. He will succeed Larry Miller, who's been with the brand for nearly two decades and will take over the role as chairman of the new Jordan Brand Advisory Board.

"It’s a unique moment to bring on a talented leader like Craig and to also be able to retain the knowledge, passion and guidance of a seasoned leader like Larry,” Michael Jordan said in a statement. “Larry has helped guide Jordan Brand to long term momentum and helped reset us for the next phase of global growth. We are incredibly grateful for his leadership and I am confident that his knowledge, in partnership with Craig’s vision, will continue to expand the Jordan Brand’s market leadership.”

Miller has served as the Jordan president since 2012 and also from 1999 to 2006. He previously held roles at Nike Basketball. Some of his most impactful projects include the brand's latest foray into women's footwear as well as partnerships with sports teams including the recent first-of-its-kind collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain.
