New York-based designer Eric Emanuel and Adidas Originals have teamed up for a two-sneaker project that includes the Crazy BYW and Rivalry Hi sneakers.
Dubbed "From the Court to the Streets," the capsule collection aims at linking the worlds of sport and street with the two silhouettes. Dipping into the brand with the Three Stripes' archives, Emanuel sought out models that best represented his understanding of the crossroads between athletic culture and streetwear style. Settling on the aforementioned sneakers, he dressed them in hues that include red, white, and gold.
On the Adidas Crazy BYW, he updated the materials with a full leather and suede upper. The shoe includes multiple shades of red with gold and white detailing. The off-court selection, the Rivalry Hi, features a cream-colored nubuck and full-grain leather upper with red and gold highlighting the Three Stripes logo.
The Eric Emanuel capsule collection drops Dec. 7 and will include a set of apparel to go along with the sneakers. The Crazy BYW and Rivalry Hi will be available for $200 and $180, respectively, at adidas.com and select retail locations. Check out below for more detailed images of the sneakers.
