Ambush co-founder Yoon has been busy teasing the brand's upcoming Nike collaboration on social media in recent weeks. Today, the designer decided to share a sneak peek at the Air Max 180 that will be part of the collection.

The shot gives a good look at the pair's orange and black insole covered in Nike and Ambush co-branding, but leaves a lot to the imagination. Features worth noting in the teaser image include what appears to be the addition of a full-zip shroud and a large black heel tab—both unconventional features to the '90s Air Max silhouette. In fact, these add-ons make this white and black colorway barely even resemble the model that Yoon has confirmed that it is.

An official release date for the Ambush x Nike collection has yet to be announced, but past teasers have suggested a drop in the first week of December.

UPDATE (11/29): New images of the upcoming Ambush x Nike Air Max 180 have surfaced courtesy of both official and unofficial sources. Yoon has offered a new on-foot look at the model, while @solebyjc has shared in-hand shots of what is said to be the sneaker. As of now, this collab is still on target to drop next week.

UPDATE (11/30): Nike has provided a closer look at the Ambush x Nike Air Max 180, which accompanies a range of co-branded apparel.

"The Air Max 180 is the first pair of sneakers I ever bought with my own money. I wanted it so badly, having seen it in the pages of a magazine," Yoon said in a press release.

While the collab's apparel is still set to drop on Thursday, Dec. 6, fans will have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on the Air Max 180 sneakers, which will be made available next spring.
