A-Cold-Wall* designer Samuel Ross is gearing up to release his next highly-anticipated Nike collaboration. While information on the project has been fairly scarce since initially being rumored back in June, some more information has finally surfaced about a potential release date.
According to @py_rates on Twitter, the collaboration will be releasing in two waves. The first drop will take place on Nov. 15 with the release of black and white colorways of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 for $200 each. The white pair of the lesser-discussed running silhouette was recently teased on A-Cold-Wall*'s Instagram account.
The second wave will feature the more highly-anticipated portion of the collaboration—black and white pairs of the Nike Air Force 1 Low, reportedly releasing on Dec. 21 for $190 each. The white pair closely resembles the brand's Air Force 1 High from 2017 with a white leather upper, grey suede on the heel and eyelets, a perforated Swoosh, and an A-Cold-Wall* branding hit on the lateral toe.
Various apparel is also expected to be included with the collection as well. An official release date and pricing have yet to be confirmed by Nike.
UPDATE (10/29): Nike has officially revealed the A Cold Wall Zoom Vomero 5. The 2010 runner will come in black and white colorways, which have been designed to discolor at a rapid pace. This is accomplished by removing the PU coatings from the shoe to accelerate yellowing.
"I am interested in how a garment ages and in taking the user on that journey. That is something I believe should be encouraged. It's much more human. It's much more dynamic as well," said A-Cold-Wall* designer Samuel Ross in an official press release.
The A-Cold-Wall* x Nike Zoom Vomero 5 will release exclusively in London on Nov. 17 with a worldwide launch scheduled for Nov. 29.
