After releasing the Mars Yard 2.0 last July, Tom Sachs and Nike will reportedly reconnect this fall for a mid-top take on the space-inspired sneakers.

According to leaker account @py_rates, a Mars Yard Mid is set for September. Not only will it reportedly introduce a mid cut to Sachs' Nike collaboration, but unlike the Mars Yard and Mars Yard 2.0, this new model will ditch its signature maple brown suede for black overlays.

Another new detail, seen in the below rendering of what the style is expected to look like, is the addition of an icy sole in place of the previous gum-like rubber.

Check back in the coming months for ongoing updates on this rumored release.

UPDATE (09/12): According to py_rates, the Mars Yard Mid will now be known as the Mars Yard Over Shoe. With a retail price of $450, the sneaker is expected to featured a "moon boot" style with straps and new technologies. The collab is expected to drop next month along with kids sizes of the Mars Yard 2.0.

UPDATE (10/3): The new Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard Over Shoe will now retail for $550, according to py_rates. A first look at the sneakers (pictured below) was also revealed in a new teaser clip on nikecraft.com, where readers can sign up now for more information.
