Sean Wotherspoon's colorful Air Max 1/97 hybrid is undoubtedly one of the best releases of 2018. With the year in its final stanza, the Round Two co-founder is showing off another Nike creation with a similar appearance.

To celebrate Air Max Day 2018 earlier this year, Wotherspoon was given the ability to create his own Air Max 1 Bespoke at NikeLab in New York City. Like his collaboration, the pair is dressed in various pastel shades of corduroy across the upper. As an added bonus, a second layer underneath can be exposed to reveal various Liberty Fabric floral patterns. Other hits include triple Swooshes on the tongue, and a mini Swoosh embroidered on the lateral toe. You can get a glimpse at Wotherspoon's design process here. The shop owner says he was inspired to use the double-layer feature by Geoff McFetridge's Nike Vandal collaboration from 2003.

Unfortunately for all of us, there were only two pairs of this sneaker created—both belonging to the man himself, which means the most that we can all do is marvel at the photos he put on Instagram today. It appears that he left one pair untouched, and tore up the other to reveal the second floral layer. Wotherspoon is also reportedly working on a second version of his Air Max 1/97 due out in the future that replaces the multicolored look with shades of blue corduroy.
