Earlier this year, Nike reinvigorated its partnership with Playstation to release a limited edition version of Paul George's PG2 signature model inspired by his love for video games. A few months later, the duo delivered again with a sequel to its coveted Air Force 1 collab from the early 2000s to celebrate the 2018 E3 convention in Los Angeles. According to @py_rates on Twitter, Nike and Playstation have one more release up their sleeves before year's end.
The third installment to the 2018 Playstation and Nike collection will be a special edition PG 2.5. While there are no official images of the pair just yet, the popular leaker account hints that the pair will feature a white and grey upper with multicolored accents. It would not be surprising if the pair largely resembles the PG2 release, but just swaps black hits out for white and grey.
Check out a rendering of what to expect from the upcoming Playstation x Nike PG 2.5 below. The pair is reportedly scheduled for a release some time in October or November.
