The connection between Kyrie Irving's signature line and Nike SB will advance next week with a timely take on the Kyrie 4.
After Concepts cooked up a "Green Lobster" Kyrie 4 colorway in August, the SB inspiration continues into fall with a "Day of the Dead" make up. As its name suggests, this Kyrie 4 gets its theme from 2006's Día de Muertos-themed Dunk SB Low.
One of the more coveted Dunks of its time, the festive "Day of the Dead" style combines orange with black and purple, with the standout feature being a multicolor skeleton pattern. These details are carried over to the Kyrie 4, and the model even goes as far as to replicate the textured Swoosh and translucent outsole.
With Day of the Dead kicking off Wednesday, Oct. 31, it's possible Irving could rock these on court during the Boston Celtics' home contest against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, Nov. 1.
As for a release date, the "Day of the Dead" Kyrie 4 is currently listed for a Tuesday, Oct. 30 drop at overseas retailers, although a stateside launch has not been confirmed.
UPDATE (10/26): The "Day of the Dead" Kyrie 4 was released today via SNKRS for $130 and is also available exclusively in-store at select Foot Locker locations.
