The NBA preseason is underway and today a game between the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings will take place in Seattle, the old stomping ground of Warriors' forward Kevin Durant. The Nike athlete started his career in the Emerald City with the former Seattle Supersonics and in honor of his rookie year with the team, Nike have special player's exclusive sneakers for tonight's game.
The Nike KD 11 PE "Seattle Blends" features the athlete's eleventh signature sneaker in two colorways that reference Durant's first year in the league before the team moved to Oklahoma City in 2008. Each pair features the silhouette's Flyknit upper, mid-cut design, and sock-like ankle collar in bold yellow and green colorways. The look also includes complementary color accents on the Nike and KD logo branding throughout.
The exclusive colorway was originally debuted and worn by a current Seattle athlete, Seattle Storm forward Breanna Stewart, who rocked the silhouette during a game against the Connecticut Suns back in June.
