Nike is back with yet another new interpretation of the timeless Air Max 1. This time around, the 1987 runner is dressed in darker tones perfect for the fall with premium detailing.
The upper primarily sports in a navy blue nubuck with burgundy nubuck present on the top eyelets and heel. Forest green corduroy paneling, and a baby blue chenille Swoosh and tongue tag complete the design. A nice finishing touch is a crepe outsole that further adds to the premium nature of this particular colorway. Most commonly seen on silhouettes like the Clarks Wallabee, the gum rubber has also been used on some classic pairs from the early 2000s as well.
Look for this take on the Air Max 1 to hit retailers in the coming months. An exact release date has yet to be announced.
