Over the years, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has been outfitted with many different themes. The latest place Nike has gotten inspiration for its timeless low-top from is the Dominican Republic.

Previewed by numerous people today via Instagram, the pair takes on the colors of the Dominican flag. It sports a white leather upper, red and blue lenticular Swoosh, and mismatched tongue tags that read "República" and "Dominicana" on the right and left shoe, respectively. While Geraldo Rodriguez's preview shows the pair laced with red and blue laces, past looks at the special edition colorways showcase royal blue laces with white dominoes attached to them to represent the popularity of the game in the Caribbean country. Other details include milky midsoles, debossed heel tabs, and "De Lo Mío" written in blue on the right outsole.

Ahead of its wider release, the pair was given to select recipients at an event held last night by digital media company S23NYC and Nike. According to Rodriguez, we can expect more information regarding the "Dominican Republic" Air Force 1 to hit Nike SNKRS in the near future with a release slated for next month.
