Michael Jordan fans have a new opportunity to own a rare piece of memorabilia.
Steiner Sports is hosting a giveaway for a signed 1997-98 Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls jersey. The piece is a Hardwood Classics jersey from Mitchell & Ness that bears Jordan's signature on the back "23" in a size XXL (52). The giveaway lasts only 25 days from today, with the winner announced via e-mail on the closing date, Sept. 30.
Although it's not a game-worn jersey, the '97-98 MJ top is especially significant for being the last jersey worn by His Airness in his first run with the Bulls, as he would announce his first retirement shortly after the season ended. It's also not everyday that Steiner Sports hosts a giveaway for a signed jersey, which are often available through auctions only.
