What could go down as the strangest colorway debut during Kanye West's time with Adidas, a new version of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 has surfaced courtesy of Tekashi 6ix9ine.

According to DJ Relentt, this vibrant, graphic-bearing pair was gifted to the 22-year old rapper in celebration of the Tr3yWay x Fancy pop-up shop, which opened in New York City on Monday.

While West hasn't yet confirmed the gifting, there is a connection between he and 6ix9ine. In late August, he confirmed that his company Donda designed the invitations for the pop-up.

Go-to source for all things Yeezy, the Yeezy Mafia shared the rendering posted above, referring to this variation of the model as the Yeezy Boost 700 VX. At the time of this writing, there's no word of a release.

UPDATE (09/06): Earlier today, Kanye West tweeted an image of 6ix9ine and Tr3yWay with the unreleased sneakers, all but confirming that previously reported backstory. In addition to this, Yeezy Mafia has shared a closer look at the Yeezy Boost 700 VX model.
