After giving the LeBron 15 Low the "Oreo" treatment over the summer, Nike is bringing the black and white knit to King James' latest.
The Nike LeBron 16 is next in line for the "Oreo" colorway. First previewed earlier this month, the "Black/Metallic Silver/White" make up combines a white and black Battleknit 2.0 upper with a black tumbled leather tongue and heel overlay. Separating this from a standard "Oreo" style is the addition of red hits on the heel tab, insole, and outsole, along with a reflective Swoosh. Meanwhile, the heels include the initials of James' children embroidered on the left and the Akron area code on the right.
Set to formally debut tomorrow, Sept. 20 in a "Fresh Bred" colorway, the LeBron 16 saw a surprise first appearance last weekend in the form of the "1 Thru 5" aka "What the" iteration.
A release date for this "Oreo" LeBron 16 has not yet been confirmed, but it should drop soon.
