Aside from its anatomically inspired design and segmented bubbles, one of the Air Max 95's most definitive features is its two-tone tongue logo. Nike has experimented with the emblem in recent months, but it's taking a different approach on an upcoming colorway.
Swapping the sneaker's Air Max tongue logo with its heel Swoosh embroidery, this Air Max 95 Essential brings a subtle change to the model. This particular colorway is blocked in tonal grey with ballistic mesh filling in the tongue area, and leather and nylon making up the rest of the shoe. It also utilizes a reflective material including the top stripe on each side.
While this is a fresh look with regards to recent Air Max 95s, it's not the first time Nike has reversed the logos on the model.
A release date for this Air Max 95 has not been confirmed, but it's expected to drop this fall/winter season.
