After debuting the chunky-heeled Air Max 270 this past February, Nike is updating the model with a brand new look for this Fall in the form of the Air Max 270 Bowfin.
Unlike the fairly simple upper of the original 270, the Bowfin resembles a sneaker from the brand's '90s ACG archive. The upper features mesh, suede, and leather paneling, various straps, a mesh inner bootie, and toggle lacing system borrowed from 1997's Air Max Light. It sits atop a slightly smaller version of the 270-degree Air bubble in the heel and rugged outsole ready for the trails. Â
The model will debut in two colorways—a "Black/Desert Cone" iteration composed of Fall tones and a more eye-catching "Black/Photo Blue" offering.Â
Look for both pairs of the Air Max 270 Bowfin to hit Nike SNKRS and other select retailers on Wednesday, Sept. 26 for $160 each.
