Last winter, Nike dropped a "Country Camo" group of Air Force 1s to go along with a flag-adorned Air Max 97 collection, and now the concept is coming back for round two.
Confirmed thus far for 2018's range are Air Force 1 Mid and Low colorways representing France and Italy, respectively. Each style uses camouflage patterns and colors unique to their respective countries and features removable Velcro flag patches.
The "Medium Olive/Medium Olive-Dark Army-Volt" France make up hit overseas retailers earlier this month and features an olive green nubuck upper with twill camo underlays, a jewel Swoosh logo, and a gum rubber outsole. Volt hits on the tongue tab and heel are complimented by an alternate pair of matching shoelaces.
Meanwhile, Italy gets its own Air Force 1 Low featuring a darker "Ale Brown/Black-Cargo Khaki" palette which mixes black accents with a brown-based camo and a ripstop tongue.
With both of these Air Force 1s hitting select retailers now, a stateside SNKRS release may follow soon. Additional countries have not yet been confirmed.
