White we await official word on Concepts' pair, fashionable takes on the Nike Air Monarch are expected to hit retail in October.
Py_rates reports that London-based designer Martine Rose will deliver two colorways of the model, which is riding another wave of success as part of the "dad" shoe trend in sneakers.
The Air Monarch is famously inexpensive, retailing for just $65 and selling for $55 at nike.com and Nike retailers. However, the pairs from this collaboration will ring the register at nearly double the price, coming in at $120 each. Expect more news on this upcoming project soon.
UPDATE (09/27): According to py_rates, the price on the Martine Rose x Nike Air Monarchs will be $250, not $120 like originally expected. This makes them the most expensive Monarchs to release thus far.
