Since news first broke in January, Dragon Ball Z fans have been eagerly awaiting the series' collaboration with Adidas Originals, and now the release is imminent.
After confirming the collection on Instagram earlier this week, Adidas has dropped more details on the range's rollout. As rumored, the collab highlights three of the anime's most memorable battles, with each face-off getting its own two-sneaker pack.
Things will begin this month with the "Son Goku vs. Frieza" group including the ZX 500 RM representing Son Goku and the Yung-1 symbolizing Frieza.
In October, the Adidas Deerupt gets inspired by Son Gohan, while the Prophere takes on the colors of the villain Cell.
The showdowns conclude in November with Vegeta's Ultra Tech releasing alongside Majin Buu's Kamanda with a final drop in December in the form of the EQT Support Mid ADV PK for the magical Shenron the Dragon character.
While the shoes in each pack will drop individually, the entire group's custom boxes are designed create a larger image when stacked side-by-side—a homage to the spines of the original manga magazine.
Look for the "Son Goku vs. Frieza" ZX 500 RM (pictured above) and Yung-1 (below) to release this month, with the rest of the collection launching throughout the end of the year.
