Adidas' First Dragon Ball Z Sneakers Drop This Month

The long-awaited Dragon Ball Z x Adidas collaboration will begin its rollout next month. What better way to kicks things off than the pairing of two sneakers referencing the epic battles between both protagonist Goku and his foe Frieza.

The duo sports colorways inspired by the respective character's iconic look. The "Son Goku" Adidas ZX 500 RM is dressed in an orange upper, combined with yellow mesh panels and blue accents, sitting atop a full-length Boost midsole. Releasing for the Frieza iteration is Adidas' Yung-1 chunky runner, featuring a white-based upper with purple hits to mimic the character's shiny skin. Rumored to be included with each shoe is a figurine of the corresponding character.

Retailing at $150 each, expect both pairs to release sometime this summer with the rest of the collection rumored to drop in the coming months. 

UPDATE (09/12): Adidas confirms that the "Son Goku" Adidas ZX 500 RM and "Frieza" Yung-1 will release Saturday, Sept. 29.
