ASAP Rocky's Under Armour sneakers have been in the works for quite some time, with various samples and teasers floating around online throughout the year. Despite the wealth of previews, little has been revealed in the way of a formal release date—until now.

The sneaker, which is officially dubbed the AWGE x Under Armour SRLo, is set to drop exclusively in Harlem tomorrow at a "skate rave" on Friday, Sept. 14, according to GQ. With a retail price of $250, the SRLo will come in triple-black and black/white colorways, each of which will be limited to 250 pairs. Aside from their polarizing design, the shoes feature Under Armour's proprietary Hovr technology for cushioning.

In an interview, Rocky defends the sneaker's controversial Osiris D3 inspiration, comparing his update to refurbishing a vintage arcade machine. To keep it true to the original, he worked with former skate pro Dave Mayhew, who was involved with the design of the D3. "I already knew the design I wanted to do. I kinda wanted to reconstruct the body...I didn't want to do too much without actually having Dave involved," the rapper-designer told GQ.

There's no word yet on a wider release of the AWGE x Under Armour SRLo.
