Following models like the Crazy 8 ADV and Crazy 1 ADV, the 98 x Crazy BYW is the next Kobe Bryant Adidas signature sneaker to receive a modern update.

Leaker account py_rates provides the first look at the upcoming model, the former KB8 II (now known as the Crazy 2) with Boost cushioning in the heel. The shoe originally released for the 1998-99 season as part of the revolutionary Feet You Wear lineup.

While an official release date hasn't been announced, py_rates confirms $150 retail at some point this year. More details in the coming months.

UPDATE (09/03): Following up rumors of the retro Kobe hybrid earlier this year, there is now a first look at what to expect from the silhouette. The remixed version remains largely the same. The upper is constructed mostly of  black leather with white Adidas Sportswear logos appearing on the tongue and lateral heel. The major difference is the addition of Boost cushioning in the heel.

There is still currently no official release date for the upcoming Adidas 98 x Crazy BYW, but expect it to retail at $150.
