As a part of its ongoing campaign based around New York City, Adidas recently hosted pop-up locations throughout the Big Apple to exclusively release Ultra Boosts inspired by the city's bodegas. Along with the special release, the custom food trucks also featured appearances by Queens native, rapper, and food connoisseur Action Bronson.

Bronson spoke candidly about why the runner is a such a comfortable shoe for larger guys like himself.

"With the Ultra Boost, you know it's not synonymous with large men, but it should be because we love the shoe and it's the perfect amount of comfort for us," he told Sole Collector. "I feel like if that's the case for me it will be supreme comfort for anybody who is a normal size."

Bronsolino also dished some new information regarding an upcoming Ultra Boost collaboration he has of his own. Rumors of a project originally began to swirl earlier this year after he showed off some never-before-seen pairs on Instagram.

"I got a collab coming actually. We are doing a friends and family edition. I got about 100 pairs releasing," he said. "They’re going to be very, very, very limited because I’m taking 50 pairs for myself. We have a very special pair coming out, should be dropping very soon. They won’t be a general drop, but you’ll see them when they come out."

Stay tuned as more information regarding the Action Bronson x Adidas Ultra Boost project becomes available. In the mean time, the aforementioned "NYC" Ultra Boost is currently available on now for $180.
