Serena Williams' "Queen" collection designed by Virgil Abloh isn't the only way Nike is celebrating the 2018 US Open. With the New York-based tennis tournament already underway, the Swoosh is also releasing pairs of the NikeCourt Court Lite inspired by two of the sport's Grand Slam tournaments—New York's US Open and London's Wimbledon.
Each pair is given a white leather upper, mini Swooshes on the side panel replacing the silhouette's usual branding, and a colorful NikeCourt logo embroidered on the heel. The "NYC" colorway is more vibrant to symbolize the streets of the Big Apple and features purple, infrared, and yellow hits. The "London" pair takes a more toned-down approach with an all-white upper and minimal green hits to stay true to the more traditional vibe of the Wimbledon tournament.
Look for the "NYC" and "London" NikeCourt Court Lite to hits Nike SNKRS and other select retailers on Saturday, Sept. 1 for $75 each.
