One of the top rookies from the incoming NBA class, Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. just landed a major endorsement deal.

According to Nick DePaula, Nike has inked Jackson to a 4-year sneaker and apparel deal. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. A freshman from Michigan State, Jackson was selected fourth overall in June's NBA Draft.

In one season with the Spartans, Jackson was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Third Team All-Big Ten. He's the highest pick from the 2018 Draft to sign with Nike, with Puma signing top picks DeAndre Ayton and Marvin Bagley III as part of an aggressive push back into the basketball market. Luka Doncic, the third overall pick, will play his rookie season in Nike as part of an existing agreement.
