One of the Nike Cortez's defining features is its large, swooping Swoosh logo, but apparently the brand deemed the emblem unnecessary for an upcoming exclusive drop with Japanese retailer Billy's.
This Classic Cortez Premium covers the model in a rich black tumbled leather which is combined with a shaggy suede tongue. Waxed laces compliment the premium feel, but the key feature here is the lack of a Swoosh on the sneaker's lateral side. While the tonal logo still appears on the inner portion, the lack of outwards branding gives the model an entirely new look.
Exclusive to Billy's, the "Black/Sail" Classic Cortez Premium drops Friday, Aug. 31 for ¥ 10,800 (around $97).
