Through a handful of OG restocks and fresh hybrids, Nike has managed to keep momentum around the Air Max 97's "Metallic Gold" colorway going long beyond the model's 20th anniversary. And it looks like the brand has even more on tap this holiday season.
Two new special edition Air Max 97 styles have surfaced which update the familiar look with new details and color blocking. The upper of the "Metallic Gold/Metallic Gold" (pictured above) mixes a metallic silver lower portion with black and gold on top, while the second "Vast Grey/ Metallic Silver-Metallic Gold" make up uses something of an inverse scheme but forgoes the black accents for a white, silver, and gold look.
As of now, both the "Vast Grey/ Metallic Silver-Metallic Gold" and "Metallic Gold/Metallic Gold" Air Max 97 SEs will release overseas on Black Friday, Nov. 23, although stateside details have yet to be confirmed.
