Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell had an impressive rookie season, during which he put up season averages of 20.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists, but one of his most meaningful dimes was dished out in the offseason.
While enjoying a meal at the Cheesecake Factory on Friday, Mitchell was approached by Maya, a young fan battling cancer, who simply just wanted to take a photo with the NBA star. However, recognizing an opportunity to do something special for his brave supporter, Mitchell went out to his car to sign a pair of Adidas sneakers for her. Maya is still currently undergoing cancer treatments at the Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Donovan hooked my cousin up with some shoes. She was just diagnosed with cancer. This guy is too good to be true. pic.twitter.com/lZi1QhzLiL
