Thus far, Adidas' pitch-inspired Kamanda and Sobakov sneakers have stuck to the script with little experimentation in the way of materials and design cues. But thanks to Boston boutique Bodega and the Adidas Consortium program, both Originals models will soon undergo new looks with a variety of updates.
For this set, Bodega essentially swaps the materials on each model, moving the knit-like construction of the Sobakov over to the Kamanda, while the traditional suede of the Kamanda appears on the Sobakov instead. In addition ot the material flip, each shoe is equipped with new details including a revamped tongue and lacing system on the Kamanda and dashes of color throughout the usually tame Sobakov.
This Bodega x Adidas Consortium collection will release Saturday, Aug. 25 exclusively from Bodega followed by a wider release from Consortium retailers on Saturday, Sept. 1.
