The creative minds behind Adidas' Workshop program have a forthcoming collection that draws inspiration from the normal day-to-day grind.
Credited to the mainstream popularity of "normcore," fashion brands like Balenciaga are embracing the plain and adapting it to the world of high fashion. An upcoming fall/winter 2018 drop from Adidas Consortium plans to do the same with two new silhouettes crafted for the old nine to five.
Revamped takes on the Falcon and SS2G are the two sneakers to emerge from the campaign and they feature a variety of elements to suit the average working Joe. The chunky sneakers include fundamental Adidas concepts like Primeknit uppers and rugged outsoles in simple white, grey, and black colorways. The sneakers are designed to blend in with the normal office attire while providing comfort and durability for those long meetings, budget cuts, and mandatory small talk.
