In what's arguably the biggest sneaker news of the week, Jordan Brand is collaborating with Vogue for the first time. Making the most of the collaboration, the range includes a total of four colorways across two models (the Air Jordan 1 Zip and Air Jordan 3 SE), each of which has literally been given Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's stamp of approval. 

Like any collab of this caliber, the news had people talking—and they had a lot to say. Many applauded the collection, while others tweeted their disapproval and some questioned Jordan Brand's marketing of the sneakers as its first-ever women's collaboration.

Check out some of the most notable reactions below and look for the Vogue x Jordan Brand collab to kick off with the release of the Air Jordan 1 Zip AWOK on on Saturday, July 21 at Hirshleifers, Kith, Nordstrom x Nike, and Jordan's 306 Yonge Toronto and 32 South State Chicago locations. A SNKRS release for the model will follow on Monday, July 23, and the Air Jordan 3 SE AWOK will be released on September 7.

If I had the opportunity to work on the collab for Jordan & Vogue I would have did an AJ 4. Since us girls aren’t out here checking for a Jordan Apparel women’s line I would have done some Nike Air X Vogue hook apparel to complete the package . Marry the two brands like the shoe.
