Earlier this year, Virgil Abloh dropped the final pair from his original "The Ten" collection with Nike—a transparent Chuck 70 that has become one of 2018's most hyped releases. Now, images have surfaced pointing to Abloh continuing his work on the iconic silhouette.
This time, it appears the Off-White designer could be taking a more traditional approach with the model. Thanks to @s.sam.group on Instagram, there is a sneak peak at the rumored upcoming iterations of the Off-White x Converse Chuck Taylor. Black and cream canvas uppers feature the usual rubber All Star logo on the medial ankle area alongside Abloh's signature details like an orange tab and Off-White logo on the midsole.
The close-up images do not give a full look at both pairs, but they definitely appear to be more toned-down designs compared to recent work from the artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear.
Stay tuned as more information becomes available regarding the Off-White designer's latest collab.
UPDATE (07/11): s.sam.group shares a few more teasers of the split-colored Off-White x Chuck Taylors. Release details are still to-be-determined.
