Debuting last month in a subdued all-black offering, Paul George's latest Nike model, the PG 2.5, is set to drop in a much brighter colorway early next month.
The upcoming pair sports a bright yellow mesh upper, black overlay wrapping the heel, and a metallic silver Swoosh stamped on the midsole. PG13's personal logo is also emblazoned on the insole and the tongue of the left shoe. A notable detail on this pair is a white tag stitched on the right heel and tongue that that lists details of a "MOON EXPLORATION." This small addition could tie this pair to some sort of space theme, but there is currently no word of the official storytelling behind this color scheme just yet.
This new model is a fusion of George's first two signature silhouettes that adds the midfoot strap from the PG 1 to the upper of the PG 2.
According to @J23app on Twitter, the "Yellow/Black" Nike PG 2.5 is set to drop on August 1 for $110.
