A Memphis home was hit with a costly robbery this week after burglars allegedly kicked in a door and stole nearly $10,000 worth of items including Air Jordans.

According to Fox 13 Memphis, police say a total of $9,450 worth of goods were stolen from the home on Monday including 15 pairs of Jordans, although the exact models and colorways aren't named. Further bloating the sum was two TVs, a Louis Vuitton bag, necklaces, and $2,200 in cash.

“Whoever did it probably knew it was in there though. That’s why they picked that house in particular," said neighbor Christion Lucas, who says he was surprised to hear the incident happened in his quiet neighborhood.

In related news, a teenager with no prior criminal record was sentenced to five years in prison for a sneaker robbery in June.
