Acting as a follow-up to its chunky Thunder Spectra that experienced a sellout upon release, Puma is gearing up to release two Electric versions of its trendy "dad shoe" to further capitalize on the current footwear trend.

Both pairs of the multi-layered Thunder Electric sport white mesh uppers with black leather overlays, grey suede panels, and speckled midsoles. One colorway uses orange accents on the branding, metallic gold hits on the top eyelets, and sits atop a gum outsole. The second option from the offering sports a blue heel piece and lace loops, metallic silver top eyelet, burnt orange branding hits, and a black outsole.

The Thunder silhouette takes inspiration from Puma's '90s catalog like the Cell System silhouettes and the brand's past projects with Alexander McQueen, while creating a new look with more exaggerated details and loud color options.

Look for both colorways of the Puma Thunder Electric to hit puma.com and other select Puma retailers on Thursday, June 21 for $120 each.
