Not only is P.J. Tucker a multi-time winner of our very own #SoleWatch MVP Award, but he's even being recognized for his impressive sneaker collection by the National Basketball Players Association.

Earlier tonight, the NBPA Instagram account announced Tucker as its Sneaker Champ Award winner for the 2017-18 season. The NBPA is a labor union that represents basketball players in the NBA.

It's no surprise that Tucker continues to be recognized as the league's top sneakerhead. Throughout the season and deep into the playoffs, the Houston Rocket made headlines with his usual lineup of hard-to-find pairs, including Jordans, Yeezys, LeBrons and Kobes. On a March episode of Complex's Sneaker Shopping, Tucker revealed that even Michael Jordan himself was surprised by a pair of exclusive Shawn Marion Air Jordan 5s he played in, asking him where he got them during a game.

In an interview with Sole Collector, Tucker said that playing in "Red October" Air Yeezy 2s received the biggest reaction from his NBA peers and that while it seems like nothing is off limits as far as game shoes, he'll never take the court in Nike Mags.
