It was like the final scene from Infinity War, as the Thanos-like juggernaut known as the Golden State Warriors made quick and easy work of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, completing a 4-game sweep at Quicken Loans Arena last night. LeBron James put forth an admirable effort, but the Cavs were simply (and predictably) overmatched by the stacked defending champs. However, James did take home the consolation prize of wearer of the best sneakers in the series.
For the final act of Savage Season 15, James took the court in a black-based colorway of the Nike LeBron 15, accented by hits of championship gold. In previous outings, he wore similar make-ups in wine, white and grey.
Considering the outcome of the series, we likely won't be seeing any of the Finals colorways release, and perhaps it's time to look ahead to the LeBron 16. First thing's first — James has to choose where he'll resume his legendary career this summer.
