Last seen as part of Nike's NBA Finals-themed "Art of a Champion" collection, the Kobe 1 Protro will soon release in a throwback colorway.
Serving as a nod to the Lakers' early run in Minneapolis during the '50s, this Kobe 1 Protro make up was first featured on the OG Zoom Kobe 1 and takes a page from the era' MPLS jerseys. Like its predecessor, the shoe opts for a mix of grey and light blue, foregoing the yellow shades often associated with the old school Lakers team.
While it may not have quite the same fanfare as Undefeated's Kobe 1 Protros, the return of this OG colorway should be music to the ears of Black Mamba fans. Check back soon for the latest release date updates on these.
