The Nike Air Max Speed Turf, a silhouette most commonly linked to legendary Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, is currently in the middle of a retro return in 2018. The latest colorway of the '90s trainer scheduled to hit retailers takes inspiration from another classic Nike model, the Air Trainer 1.

This Speed Turf resembles the OG "Chlorohpyll" colorway of the Air Trainer 1 that has become synonymous with tennis legend John McEnroe. White mesh and leather make up a majority of the upper, while black and grey suede overlays are used on the tongue, heel, eyelets, and midfoot strap. Of course, chlorophyll green hits are used on the various Nike logo branding found on the mid panel, strap, and midsole. The same color is used on the Air Max bag in the heel.

While an official release date has yet to be announced, select retailers overseas like Maxi Sport have the "Chlorophyll" Nike Air Max Speed Turf set to drop on July 1.
