Swoosh-branded Chuck Taylor All-Stars have been part of the sneaker rumor mill for several months, and now Nike's biggest endorser is providing confirmation on his game's biggest stage.

Earlier today, LeBron James showed up to NBA Finals shootaround wearing "Bootleg" Swoosh-bearing Chucks by streetwear label Chinatown Market, its smiley face logo visible along the medial side. Leakers such as 2muchsol3 have pointed out that these were in the works since as early as March, also making it clear that they won't be available to the public. According to Chinatown Market, this size 16 was only made for James—a piece of information also printed on the back on the tongue.

It's not exactly clear how this project came to be or how official it is. These aside, Chucks featuring Swoosh branding will probably be a thing at some point in the future considering Nike's history in crossover product. Perhaps the King James co-sign on this pair is a sign of things to come.
