Once again using the Paris Fashion Week runway to debut new 4D-printed sneakers, Y-3's Spring/Summer 2019 show included a glimpse at its latest experimental design.

This time around, the Y-3 4D Runner 2 deviates from the upper seen on the brand's previous 4D sneaker, which was lifted from the brand's Harigane model. Instead, the sock-like update employs a new lace system reminiscent of the Kasuri sneaker, which zigzags the laces from the toe to the heel. Also of note on this model is what appears to be a matching white 4D sole, a first for the Carbon technology.

Other recent Adidas 4D drops of note include Sneakersnstuff's Consortium 4D collab and the AlphaEdge 4D.

Release details have not yet been announced, but the brand's first 4D Runner was limited to only 200 pairs with a retail price of $550, so readers should expect similar numbers when this sequel arrives.
