After Zach Coffman shared an on-foot look at the silver Off-White x Nike Air Presto back in March, additional photos of the unreleased colorway hit the web this week. Several outlets published stories with the new set of photos, prompting Virgil Abloh to speak out on the authenticity of the sneakers in question.

According to the Off-White founder and new Louis Vuitton Menswear Director, the zip-tie is a dead giveaway that the pair in these photos is a knockoff. The images surfaced earlier this week on accounts like @earlycop, which promotes a large amount of obviously fake sneakers and advertises the sale of early and sample pairs.
This isn't the first time Abloh has used his social platforms to call out fake Off-White sneakers. In Dec. 2017, he commented "Not real" on a Hypebeast post of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 on Instagram.
