When 14-year-old Camden Grant volunteered to read to kids at Tampa's Booker T. Washington Elementary School earlier this year, she noticed that some of the students' shoes were in rough shape and left with an ambitious goal of raising $2,500 to buy them 60 new pairs of sneakers.

Thanks to GoFundMe, not only did Grant reach her target, she was able to buy nearly three-times as many shoes as she originally planned.

Within a little over a month, Camden had rounded up over $6,000, allowing her to buy 150 pairs of sneakers—many of which were Nikes—for the school's entire first and second grade groups, according to ABC Action News.

Camden calls her campaign Soles Shaping Souls, and it even has its own Instagram page.

The looks on the student's faces say it all, and one young learner tells ABC they're already feeling the effects. "I used to be able to jump this high. But with these new shoes, I can jump THIS high!," a student reportedly said.
