Michael Jordan's glory days with the Chicago Bulls will be documented like never before with the release of ESPN Films and Netflix's The Last Dance in 2019. In celebration of the film—and the 20th anniversary of MJ's "Last Shot" against the Jazz during the 1998 NBA Finals—Nike has prepared a commemorative Bulls jersey for the occasion.
Although the top isn't a one-to-one reproduction of the one worn by MJ, it does presents a rare opportunity to pick up a Nike-branded Jordan jersey. For those looking to splurge, the red Bulls away jersey will come in an Authentic version with a display box for $400. Meanwhile, it will also be offered in both home and away Swingman variations for $120.
The famous MJ uniform has also been updated with modern technology. Both the Authentic and Swingman versions are equipped with NikeConnect, which the brand says will allow users to access content related to the The Last Dance before the film's release.
And that's not all. The jersey is also being released in partnership with nonprofit Friends of the Children, which pairs at-risk children with mentors as they progress from kindergarten to graduation.
These jerseys are scheduled to launch Thursday, May 31.
