The forthcoming "Metallic Gold" Air VaporMax 97 release and restock of the fan-favorite Air Max 97 OG will have some company come next week in the form of a matching Air Max Plus.
Originally released last year alongside the aforementioned Air Max 97 OG and other similar styles, this Air Max Plus lifts the materials and color blocking of the original 1997 runner and applies them to this cult classic model. Signature details including the Air Max 97's unique mesh and reflective elements are seen here, while the overall shape and ribbed texture of the upper remain unchanged.
For those who can't get enough of the "Metallic Gold" colorway, this pair will drop again on Thursday, May 17 for $160 from SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear retailers.
