While Nike has recently been delivering new colorways of its Air Max 97/Plus hybrid, it's now bringing back a pair that debuted a decade ago for an upcoming release.

Originally dropping in 2008, this Air Max 97/Plus color scheme takes inspiration from one of the OG colorways of the Air Max Plus. The aforementioned silhouette's upper is constructed of a black mesh with yellow and orange overlays. Black patent leather is also used on the tongue, heel, and mud guard. The upper sits atop a black Air Max 97 midsole with an orange Air unit. Other small details include 3M hits on the toe box and "Mx Air" logos on each heel to resemble the "Tn Air" branding usually seen on standard pairs of the Air Max Plus.

A release date and retail pricing for this upcoming Nike Air Max 97/Plus have yet to be announced, however official images have leaked.
