Newly-minted Dior menswear artistic director Kim Jones has given up his post at Louis Vuitton, but the designer's collaboration with Nike is carrying on with a wild new hybrid model.
Jones previewed the sneakers on Instagram along with a NikeLab apparel collection set to release today at Dover Street Market London.
The shoes combines the full-length sole of the Air Max 2009 with a new high-top upper that fuses elements of several Nike models including the oversized Swoosh logo of the Blazer and the ankle strap of the Vandal. A mixture of honeycomb mesh, canvas, and leather make up the materials.
While specifics on the sneakers remain unclear, we should know more soon as Dover Street Market's Photo London open house event will begin momentarily.
