Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Mismatched Sample 1

Back in 2014, Jordan Brand joined forces with Fragment Design to release a highly-coveted Air Jordan 1 collaboration. Three years later Fragment's Hiroshi Fujiwara has debuted another rendition of the popular pair.

This newest version spotted on the feet of the Japanese designer is a mismatched edition. One foot resembles the unreleased friends and family version with a black fragment logo on the lateral heel, while the right foot features a slightly flipped upper with black replacing royal blue on the heel and a royal blue Swoosh. Adding to this pair's exclusivity are the production notes written in black marker on the left medial heel.

The original fragment x Air Jordan 1 still fetches around $2,000 on the resell market. Despite the reveal of this new version, do not expect the sample to hit retail. Fujiwara confirmed this mismatched pair is an exclusive sample that won't be releasing during his discussion with Jeff Staple on Hypebeast's The Business of Hype podcast.
