With Drake'sJordan deal still up in the air for the time being, we're getting a better look at what could've been in the works for his OVO collaborations.

First previewed by Drake last fall, the Air Jordan 4 "Splatter" aka "Multicolor" is an updated take on an unreleased sample from 1989. The exclusive colorway covers the upper in black with a contrasting white underlay below the tongue and side panel's mesh netting. Elsewhere, the standout feature of this style is its midsole and heel pattern, which combines red and white splatters for some unmistakable Chicago Bulls flair.

However, the most interesting aspect of these retro 4s is actually a hidden one. Behind the heel tab lies a gold OVO owl logo, a detail that hadn't been revealed until now.

The "Splatter" Air Jordan 4 is rumored to release in 2019, but it more than likely won't include the personalized OVO touch seen here.
